Companies Gearing Up To Train California Dispensary Employees on New State Regulations
Look for more marijuana-adjacent opportunities to arise in California after January 1st
HempStaff, a training agency for the legal marijuana industry, is hosting a marijuana dispensary agent training class in Los Angeles this coming January. The course comes as California begins sales of marijuana for recreational use. The course covers marijuana regulations as well as topics like how to speak with new customers and understand their needs, how to determine and recommend dosage, among other topics. In addition to education, the classes also give tips on how to make connections with employers looking to fill entry-level positions at dispensaries and cultivation sites.
What it means for retail: Good news for retail opportunities in California as recreational marijuana is right around the corner. New companies are popping up left and right to service the burgeoning industry. Hempstaff looks to be one of the first to offer dispensaries help with getting their staff up to date with the new regulations. Look for more marijuana-adjacent opportunities to arise in California after January 1st.
